Eduardo was born in the province of Heredia, where he currently lives, in the district of Mercedes, and as he tells us, it is a very beautiful place to live.

Eduardo resided 4 years in the United States, upon his return to Costa Rica he began working in tourism as a bilingual driver, which he did for 14 years. During those years driving for tourist groups mostly focused on Nature, he began to be interested in this field, so he decided to start studying to be a guide. Eduardo says, "Because of the love I feel for Nature, I feel committed to transmit my knowledge to the tourists who visit Costa Rica and to the residents, so that they get to know, enjoy and help protect the natural wealth of our country."

During his free time Eduardo loves to jog, birdwatch and spend time with his wife Alejandra.
