Nicole Rodriguez
Naturalist Guide
Nicole Rodriguez, was born on July 15, 1993, she says that her of the Zodiac, Cancer says that these people are very peaceful and usually in tune with nature. Nicole thinks this might explain her passion for everything that is done outdoors and mother nature.
Another explanation for her passion is that as a girl Nicole joined the Girl Scouts of Costa Rica, where values such as sharing, leadership, responsibility, optimism and being helpful were taught. This was all done in a setting of adventure camps that further cemented her love of the outdoors and her goal of turning the forest into her office of choice.
Despite spending so much of her childhood exploring, she credits most of what she has learned to her studies at the National University. She plans to study always and hopes that her thirst for learning will never end.
Nicole says that what she enjoys the most about guiding is sharing with guests. She loves using the art of pleasant conversations to show guests her beautiful country. The most satisfactory experience as a guide is when a guest is satisfied with what they have experienced, and sees the magic in the surroundings. She looks forward to meeting new guests each day and is curious about what her guests will teach her.
When she’s not guiding, Nicole likes to play Ultimate Frisbee, go for a hike to get some fresh air, read, sing, and photographing nature.
