Silvia Rankin
Assistant Manager, Tortuga Lodge
Born on September 28th, 1975, Silvia was born and raised in the region of Tortuguro. Before coming to work for Tortuga Lodge in December of 2009, Silvia had always heard good things about Tortuga Lodge. She tells us that she set a goal of coming to work for us one day. After many years working at a different lodge her dream came true and we are extremely lucky to have her extraordinary smile greet our guests every morning. Our dream came true too!
What she most likes about her role at Tortuga Lodge is to see how excited and happy guests are to arrive and then how sad they are to leave. She especially likes meeting guests and learning about them.
When she?s not delighting guests at Tortuga Lodge, Silvia enjoys dancing (she?ll give you a lesson at the lodge), reading and going to the movies with her children Everly 17 and Elian 6.
