Gabriel, 27, is from San Jose and has been working as a guide in Costa Rica for several years. Gabriel grew up on a family ranch, where he learned to love the outdoors and nature. He earned a degree in agro-ecotourism from the Central American School of Cattle Raising and later studied at the National Institute of Biodiversity. “I was drawn to guiding because I like being with people,” he says. “I’m also very proud of my country and it’s great to show off Costa Rica’s natural treasures to visitors.” In his free time, Gabriel likes to spend time with his son Fabian. He also enjoys body surfing and horseback riding when he’s back on the ranch.
