Kevyn Campos

Born in San Jose on May 19, 1990, Kevyn is from the City of Desamparados where he lives with his brother Byron, his mother, an auditor for the INAMU or the National Institute for Women, and his father works as a messenger in the sometimes chaotic city of San Jose.

Kevyn’s favorite thing about working at Costa Rica Expeditions is the vibe in the office and the people that he spends his day with. He transmits the same feeling to the people that he corresponds with because he is mentioned almost weekly by people that tell us how professional and fun he is to work with.

His first love is the kitchen and he’s studied cooking at both the Universidad Latina in San Jose and at ARCAM the same gourmet cooking school where our Executive Chef, Federico Barrantes graduated from.

He ended up working in the travel business because he needed to have a stable income and working in kitchens at entry level wasn’t paying the bills, his plan is to eventually open something small with craft beer and great food.

When he’s not at the office Kevyn loves to cook for his girlfriend and family and spend time at his church.
