| From your first night in Costa Rica at Xandari Plantation, you will be staying at some of the country’s most renowned boutique hotels. First, head to the Atlantic Coast to explore the backwater creeks of Tortuguero National Park and perhaps observe turtle nesting (Jun-Oct only). Next, fly to the Osa Peninsula for three nights at the renowned Lapa Rios Ecolodge. Bungalows are situated 350 feet above the ocean and private beach on 1,000 acres of pristine forest accessible by trails. Here you can participate in activities (at additional cost) such as kayaking, birding, horseback riding, swimming with dolphins, night walks, yoga classes, or simply relax by the pool. Finally, fly back to San Jose and then drive into the highlands to hike in the cloud forest. |
