| This trip includes a private van and driver and professional Naturalist Guide during Days 1 to 11. Start this active family adventure with a white water trip down the Pejibaye River then fly to Tortuguero to observe turtle nesting (Jun-Oct only) and kayak the flooded forests of the National Park. Then fly to Manuel Antonio for an outrigger canoe trip following the Pacific coast under impressive cliffs to a secluded beach. End the day in Monteverde in the highlands. While in Monteverde, you'll will hike in the cloud forest looking for the rare Resplendent Quetazal and visit a family sugar mill. Next visit the Arenal Volcano area for 2-1/2 adventure-filled days hiking the Hanging Bridges trails, soaking in a hot springs, biking the north shore of Arenal Lake and participating in other activities. Days 11-13 will be at the JW Marriott Resort in Guanacaste, one of the region's most celebrated luxury hotels with pools and private beach, gym, championship golf course and much more to explore with your family. |
