Itinerary
Head for the Osa Peninsula for three full days to snorkel at the marine reserve at Caño Island in Drake Bay and hike with a naturalist guide in Corcovado National Park. Then you'll travel to the highlands around Arenal Volcano for a float trip on the Peñas Blancas River and a hike on the Hanging Bridges trails. Before finishing your Costa Rica trip in Manuel Antonio, you will experience the Waterfalls Canopy Tour.

Spend the first two-and-a-half days at Laguna Vista Villas in one of Costa Rica's most remote areas. Here you'll have the opportunity to explore with your guide Corcovado National Park, home of some of the animals that have come to symbolize the rainforest: the jaguar, tapir, ocelot and peccaries. Return to San Jose to pick up your rental car for the drive to Monteverde Lodge, where you will visit the Cloud Forest Reserve and, on Day 7, visit Arenal to see an active volcano.

Itinerary
Hike in Corcovado on the Osa Peninsula and observe life in the rainforest. Head to the highlands and walk in the cloud forests of San Ramon, habitat of the Resplendent Quetzal, which nests here between February and June. Then drive to Arenal to see the active volcano, hike the Hanging Bridges trails, take a river float safari, and soak in a natural hot springs.
