What happened that fascinated, delighted, inspired, amazed or enlightened -- something that might become a lifetime memory?

Everything about this adventure was great. From the timely pick up, to Ricardo are very nice guide who suggested we bring a change of clothes (thank you for that), to the ride itself and of course the breakfast. My husband can't stop raving about the Hot Chocolate. The trip was great, the water was running good, the food was great, even the detour we had to make was fine. I have to say that this was the best thing about our entire trip to Costa Rica. Thanks for the great memories and of course the wonderful CD full of 68 pictures.

What surprised you by going beyond the hopes you had, based on our site or what you read and heard before hand?

Not sure if things surprised me per say, since I did go for the White Glove experience. I think in general the trip being so inclusive and just fun was great. We were the only tourists on the trip, the rest were locals, so that was sort of interesting.

...and what fell short of your expectations?

Nothing

Did the trip change your feelings about those you traveled with?

No

What issue beforehand almost decided you to not travel with us?

Nothing

What Costa Rica Expeditions people exceeded or fell short of your expectations, and in what ways?

I did however perceive that only two individuals from Costa Rica Expeditions really talked to us were Ricardo, Luigi and Ramon (to some extent). Not sure if there was a language barrier with the other guides on the tour.

What would you say to a friend if you wanted to persuade them to choose us when they come to Costa Rica?

No doubt about it, if they want to White Water Raft we will tell them to come see you.

Hi Michael,

My grandson and I had the pleasure of meeting you at the Tortuga Lodge one morning at breakfast.

Wow, the questions are so big. I will try to condense my experience with your company.

First let me tell you I was there with my 13 year old grandson as a gift in honor of his bar mitzvah.

I found you through one of the tour books and when I went on your website, I was fascinated by your questionnaire. I filled it out and heard back rather quickly from Priscilla Jimenez. We started working on the trip together and she was absolutely wonderful. Answered alll my questions and addressed all my concerns.She gave me her recommendations and the reasons why. She also was open to my suggestions and together we planned an amazing trip.

Nothing in the process was unpleasant. In fact it became more and more exciting to think about what we would do and see. I am a seasoned traveler and always expect something to go amiss, but I can honestly say, nothing did. The trip was executed perfectly (and I rarely use that word) from the moment we arrived until we had to say goodbye.

Both Ethan and I did many new and fun things and we certainly learned alot. All of the people that work for you were wonderful. Frederico was our naturalist guide and he was amazing. He was wonderful with Ethan and we had many interesting discussions about all sorts of things and we laughed alot.

Our driver, George and our river guide, Geraldo were the best. They went out of their way to take care of us and give us the best experience possible. We were sad to say good-bye to them.

Frederico has a copy of my pictures and you are free to use what you like. I have recommended your company to all my friends.

As you think about how we planned and fulfilled your Costa Rica vacation...

The flora & fauna that we saw. The friendliness of the local people & their pride in Costa Rica.

What surprised you by going beyond the hopes you had, based on our site or what you read and heard before hand?

Hotels were all wonderful, all the pick ups were on time & the naturalist guides were great.

...and what fell short of your expectations?

Nothing.

Did the trip change your feelings about those you traveled with?

Not really – married for over 50 years!

What issue beforehand almost decided you to not travel with us?

Fairly expensive. Our original plan was to arrange a self-drive vacation and make our own hotel reservations, etc. but we realized how complicated it would be. No regrets about our decision.

What were the few most important things that decided you to go with us?

Probably reading excellent reviews of your services on the internet & then studying your website. We liked what we saw.

What Costa Rica Expeditions people exceeded or fell short of your expectations, and in what ways?

We were very pleased with all the people we met.

Marco,

I just wanted to thank you for a great trip. We had so much fun. We saw and did more than we ever thought we would. Costa Rica is a beautiful country. I think we chose the perfect weeks to go. Very light amounts of rain and the weather was great. We also really enjoyed the lack of tourists everywhere.

I cannot talk to my friends enough about CRE. You guys did a great job. We always felt safe and taken care of. We trusted each vendor and were very pleased with each activity and hotel. The guides were great. Very professional. All the drivers were great. They were always on time for pick up and drop off.

Having you guys handle our trip was great. It was our honeymoon and we didn’t not have to worry about anything more than what we were going to have for dinner.

We have been telling all our friends about your company and will definitely use you again when we return to Costa Rica.
