Red-eyed tree frog
This frog was found in the Tortuga Lodge's gardens. During the day they sleep, hiding their colorful patterns and mimicking the leaf they rest upon. Their bright red eyes are thought to be a defense mechanism to startle predators. See Lodge information and prices.
