Photo by Felipe Lopez Jan 2006 Green Iguana This is an adult male Green Iguana (Iguana iguana). These iguanas are typically about two metres in length from head to tail and can weigh up to 5 kg. Males have highly developed pores that secrete scent, and are often covered in a waxy substance.
